There are still Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners who have not yet received the Android 4.0.4 update from Verizon. Those of you who haven’t seen the update will be happy to know that there is a method to try to try pulling the update manually from Verizon.
It looks like the update that started rolling out last week (I still don’t have it) is slowly rolling out to Galaxy Nexus owners. The software includes a number of bug fixes to help smooth the experience of some Galaxy Nexus owners.
Many owners of the Verizon device have been experiencing errors since its launch in December.

A lot of people (including me) have become impatient about the speed of rollout. Fortunately, there is a way to try to pull the update.
Discovered by Phandroid, the method seems to work for many. Here are all the instructions on how to try and get the update right now:
For some, this method has worked. Others had to try this several times to get the update. Some even changed the order.
Personally, I’ve never been able to get this method working but I can confirm it works for some people. I’ll also say it’s worth a try, especially for those dealing with lots of bugs.

Verizon hasn’t said how long the rollout will take, so it may take some time before all Galaxy Nexus owners see the update arrive.
