How To Get The New Gmail Interface Now

In this quick guide, we’ll show you how to try the new Gmail web interface right away. Google recently irregular It’s a brand new style for Gmail on the web, and not everyone has it yet. It brings a refreshing and stylish new design and several useful and smart new features to email.

Instructions

1. go Gmail on the web and to your account
2. In your Inbox, near the top right corner
3. Click in the settings popup
4. You’ll only see this option if it’s already available for your account

You have now successfully migrated to the all-new Gmail web interface for your account and device. However, there are a few more steps you need to take to enjoy the new Gmail for 2018.

2. Then for your inbox (default, casual or compact) and
3. Click again and you’re done

We recommend keeping it in the default viewing mode as it is familiar to most users. It also displays the most information per message and line, which is helpful. That said, the improved new comfort mode isn’t too bad, and it’s a nice mix between the old and the new look. Press the gear-shaped settings button again at any time and change views if you don’t like what you’ve chosen.

Additionally, you can repeat these steps and revert to the “old” Gmail if you want, but we’re not sure how long that will take. Eventually, Google will switch everyone from the old style to this new look, we’re not sure when.
