We’ve all been there: you wake up feeling refreshed in the morning and then you look at your phone to see how late you’ll be for work. It’s embarrassing and can cause you to lose your job.
With push notifications, phone calls, and other types of alerts, an iPhone seems to constantly signal the user. Despite all these reminders, it is still important to have alarms set for important events. Or even to wake up in the morning.
Fortunately, Apple has added a neat clock app to every iPhone. With a few easy-to-follow steps, the clock app can be set to remember important events throughout the day.
How to set iPhone alarms?
Tap the app on the home screen to set iPhone alarms.
When the app opens it should look like this:
Tap at the bottom of the screen as shown in the image above.
If there are alarms already set, they will most likely be returned as they are, the user probably wants them to be enabled.
Tap the button in the Top Right to add a new alarm.
The time the user wants the alarm to sound can be set at the bottom of the screen. If there will be a recurring event, such as an alarm, wake up time, or lesson schedule reminders, tap .
In this window choose on which days the alarm should be repeated:
It should also be noted that the alarm sound can be changed from the default Marimba.
These are some of the default sounds you can choose from. You can also choose any ringtone available on iPhone.
Finally, if the alarm is for a specific event, it’s helpful to change the name from the default “Alarm”. This can be done by tapping on it.
In general, setting iPhone alarms is a fairly simple process. And when properly structured, we hope that morning meeting or important business meeting is never missed again.
