How to Get the Best iPhone App Deals

It’s funny how consumers spend hundreds of dollars on a smartphone or tablet, but they scream $5 for an app or game. It’s a strange and mysterious aspect of human life, but we’ve all done it. We’re seeing a great looking app that’s gotten huge reviews, and it’s actually something you can use every day to help you in some way, but once you look at the price tag, you quickly turn around and walk away.

That’s why we tend to look for deals and sales before buying apps and games because developers always discount their apps and games at some point, whether it’s Christmas time or any other time. However, without tracking all these deals, we usually need to check the app daily to see if it goes on sale, but it actually doesn’t have to be that difficult.

Create wishlist

I’m sure there are many apps and games you want to buy, but you’re probably waiting for them to go on sale. In this case, you’ll want to create a wishlist in AppShopper. You must first create an account by clicking the icon in the upper right corner of the web page. Enter a username, password and email address and click. You may need to verify your email first, but once you’re all registered, you’re ready to create your wishlist.

To add an app or game to your wish list, type its name in the search bar on the right sidebar. When the search results open, you will see the app or game listed on the right with the current price. Below the price, there will be a checkmark box next to it. Click on that checkmark box to add the app/game to your wishlist. Do this for every app and game you want to add to your wishlist.

You can view and manage your wish list by clicking the big tab at the top of the web page, sort the list by name, price, last update and rating. However, we’re not done yet.

Get Notified When Wish List Apps Go On Sale

This is a crucial step you need to complete to truly be notified when your favorite apps are on sale. When viewing your wish list, there will be a box in the right sidebar.

You have three options to choose from: , and . Click on the first option to be notified by email, or on the third option if you want updates to appear in your chosen RSS reader.

Unlike the RSS feed mentioned earlier, you can subscribe to all kinds of different RSS feeds in AppShopper.
