When Google launched the Google Pixel 2, one of the first things that caught my eye was the “At a Glance” widget. As far as I was concerned it was a small but ingenious idea for Google to show your upcoming calendar events by exact time and weather. I hated that Google made this feature exclusive to the Pixel, and we even wrote an article on how to get Pixel 2 features on any Android device. But workarounds are always workarounds and it’s better to get the features officially from Google. Fortunately, now that Google has made the “At a Glance” widget available for all Android devices running Android Nougat and higher, you can get it on your device as follows:
Get the Google Pixel 2 “Widget at a Glance”
- Since the feature is only available for beta users, first Sign up for Google as a beta tester and you can do it this way: by clicking the link. After logging in with your Google account, you will see the “Become a Tester” button on the page. Click on it for.
2. After doing this, you should see a message saying, “You are now a tester“.
3. Now wait a few minutes and open Google Play Store and search for Google App. You should see a beta update available for you.. Download, update.
4. After installing the update, open the widget panel; Find the “At a Glance” widget under the Google subsection of the widget panel. Hold and drag to use on your home screen.
