Apple announced and unveiled iOS 9 during the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June, and while the new mobile operating system retains the same overall look and design as iOS 8, there are a handful of new features to focus on.
Siri is faster and more accurate than ever, Spotlight Search has gotten some improvements, better privacy settings, more support for Apple Pay overall with credit cards and store loyalty cards, and perhaps the biggest new feature is the addition of transit directions. Apple Maps.
Finally, there are a few minor improvements in iOS 9 that make for an overall better experience. iOS 9 isn’t a huge overhaul from iOS 8, but it doesn’t have to be yet. We’ll leave that to iOS 10.

How to Get New iOS 9 Wallpapers Immediately

iOS 9 is currently in its fifth beta, and a public release is expected this fall this year.
