When Apple launched its first big iPhone (iPhone 6 Plus), it knew it would be difficult for people to adapt to the new screen size, especially when the largest iPhone before the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch had only a 4-screen display. inch. To help users get their hands on the new big iPhone, Apple introduced a new Accessibility feature. Just double-tap the home button; the top half of the screen slides down, allowing you to interact with the UI without using a second hand. On the Android side, some manufacturers like Samsung and Huawei have their own accessibility feature called one-handed mode. However, most do not support this feature, including Google’s own Pixel phones, as Android does not natively support this feature. Also, I would prefer Apple to implement one-handed mode over what people like Samsung and Huawei have done. In this post, I will describe a method you can use to get iPhone-like Accessibility on your Android device:

To get iPhone-like accessibility feature on our Android device, we will use a third party application and ADB commands. The tutorial will be pretty simple so follow along to get it working in no time.
- Download and Install One Hand Mode Application from Play Store.
- Now start the application and Tap next until you reach the page that says “ADB Instructions”.. The page is hard to miss as it is the last page in the setup process and has a dazzling red background. Now, if you are rooted, simply tap the checkmark to complete the process, but if you are not rooted, continue.
3. For non-rooted devices use ADB commands to give the app the necessary permissions. You can use both Mac and PC to do this. The only change is that we will be using Terminal with Mac while using Command Prompt on PC. I use Terminal as I have a Mac, but rest assured the commands will be the same. 4. Now, with ADB installed on your computer, connect your phone to it with a cable. Now, start Terminal/Command Prompt on your computer and type the following command and hit return/enter.
adb devices
5. You press enter once You should see your device represented by an alphanumeric code followed by the word device.as shown in the picture below.
6. Now, just type the following command and hit enter/return. remember this command is case sensitive. To avoid confusion, simply copy and paste the command.
adb shell pm grant com.xda.onehandedmode android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
7. Now, disconnect your phone from your computer and close and restart the app on your smartphone. Let’s see if the application works first. Tap the “OFF” button shown in the picture below. It should now say “ON”.
8. Now go to your home screen and launch any app to see how it looks with one hand.
9. Once you are satisfied with the test, you can purchase the app ($1.99) via in-app purchase to use it as your personal one-handed mod solution. It also comes with a floating balloon that can be placed anywhere on your screen. When you want to activate one-handed mode, simply tap the balloon to activate it.
Note: Not all apps support this feature, so you will see some apps glitch when using one-handed mode with this app.

Get iPhone Accessibility Mode on Android
