How to Get Google Feed on OnePlus Launcher

One of the many reasons users prefer OnePlus devices is its stock OxygenOS. However, there is one glaring shortcoming in its launcher and that is access to Google Feed without a right swipe. Google Feed integration with the default launcher is a standard feature, so users going through a stock Android device would hate to have this feature, no matter how great the OnePlus Shelf is. That said, the wait is over as you can now get Google Feed on OnePlus launcher with a Magisk Module. No need to use third party launcher anymore to have Google Feed with right swipe. Now, having said that, let’s get started.

Before You Begin, make sure your device is supported with Magisk. If you have no idea about rooting, follow our tutorial here and root your OnePlus device. We will use a Magisk Module created by XDA Forums Member ashishranjan738. The module contains the modded APK and is based on the latest OnePlus launcher. The modified APK comes with Google Feed support which can be enabled on the left shelf. However, keep in mind while the module is active, ‘double tap to lock’ doesn’t work and causes some UI inconsistencies when in dark mode. Other than that, the module is pretty good and useful. Now that you’ve reviewed the basics, let’s move on to the steps.

Note: We tested this module on the OnePlus 7T and it works pretty well. While the developer has not explicitly stated that it will work on other OnePlus devices, you can still give it a try as the OnePlus launcher is the same for all their devices.

1. Firstly open Play Store and Disable updates for OnePlus Launcher. It will ensure that upcoming updates do not override the modded launcher.

2. Next, Download OnePlus Launcher ZIP file with mod from here. If you cannot download the file to the desktop, try downloading it to your smartphone.

3. After that open Magisk app and Go to “Modules” by tapping on the hamburger menu.
