When I first got my new iPad on March 16, I quickly noticed that my Wi-Fi signal was much weaker than the Wi-Fi signal found on the iPad 2. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who found this to be an issue. Our very own Warner Crocker also noticed that his new iPad isn’t all that good at getting a connection.
Others complain about it too.
Apparently, the problem may have something to do with the software on board, not the hardware itself. And as I found out, there is an extremely simple fix that works for me that may work for some of you.
Available in OS X Daily sent Here is a short tutorial on how to fix Wi-Fi connection issue with new iPad. I decided to give it a try, and my Wi-Fi signal on my new iPad definitely looks like the one on my iPad 2.
Here is what I did.
Go to and go to .
Now go to and then go to .
Once inside, tap the blue arrow next to the device your iPad is connected to.
Then, you’ll want it on the next screen.
Return to the Wi-Fi screen and reconnect to that network.
Hope you enjoy a better Wi-Fi signal.
I doubt this works for everyone, but it definitely worked for me. I bet Apple will release a software update soon that will fix the problem for everyone. For now, though, you’ll want to consider trying this fix.
Anyone having problems?
Did this fix work?
let me know.
