As we mentioned earlier, iOS 10 has not been as critically acclaimed as previous versions of iOS. Apple enables some really annoying features by default, and we’ve already covered how to fix iOS 10 major annoyances. However, some bugs are not that easy to fix and require jailbreaking your iPhone/iPad. Jailbreaking allows you to customize your iPhone in endless ways, fix major annoyances, and add many new features, among many others. So, if you have jailbroken your device, here it is Here’s how to fix iOS 10’s most annoying problems:
Fix Few System Settings in iOS 10
1. Sort Apps by Consumed Data
Inside Settings > Cellular, iOS shows the amount of cellular data consumed in an alphabetical list of apps. While this is great if you want to find out the amount of data consumed by a particular app, figuring out which app is consuming the most data becomes extremely cumbersome.
Cellular Usage Order fix it sort apps by the amount of data they consume. As a side note, Android’s mobile data usage management is extremely well done, and I wish Apple would “borrow” a page from Android.

2. Toast Messages for WiFi Connections
iPhone doesn’t show which WiFi network you are actually connected to unless you go into WiFI Settings. To make matters worse, Apple doesn’t even allow easy changing of WiFi hotspot priority on iPhone. (If you don’t have a Mac, that is!)
WiJoin solves the aforementioned problem as follows: showing a small toast every time you connect to a WiFi network. Nice and easy.

5. Clear App Cache on iOS 10
Perhaps one of the most sought after features in iPhones/iPad is the ability to clear cache. If you browse the web on your iPhone or use social networking apps a lot, these apps store a lot of cache on your iPhone (I’m looking at you, Facebook). The only way to clear this cache and free up space is to uninstall and reinstall these apps. But if you’re in jail, Cache Cleaner allows you to clear cache per app without the hassle of reinstalling apps.
This, along with some other tricks to free up space on your iPhone, Make your 16GB iPhone Good bearable again!

Fix iOS 10 Home Screen and Notifications
6. Status Bar Icon for Personal Hotspot
Every time you turn on “Personal Hotspot” you will get a persistent bar reminding you that Personal Hotspot is on. This bar, besides being annoying, breaks the “scroll to jump status bar” inside apps.
TetherStatus fixes this by replacing the blue status bar with one. simple Status bar icon. This looks much more subtle, elegant, and that’s how Apple should have implemented it.

7. Change Volume Skin
We’ve covered this gem before and it deserves a spot on this list as well. Status Vol X replaces Apple’s massive and prominent volume/luminance HUD. a series of dots in the status bar. It’s much less noticeable and doesn’t get in your way while using your iPhone.
For even more minimalism you can try NoVolumeHUD. With this enabled, you can still change the volume, but HUD will always be hidden.

8. Notification Icons in iOS 10
Perhaps one of my biggest gripes when switching from Android to iPhone is the lack of notification icons in the status bar of iOS whenever I receive a new notification. OpenNotifier fixes it by adding application’s notification icon to the status bar.
OpenNotifier10 has just been updated for iOS 10 but lacks a few features compared to its previous versions. The developer has promised to work hard to implement the new features very soon, so you should definitely pay attention to that. Requires OpenNotifier10 libmoorekon For it to work properly, don’t forget to install it as well.

Fix iOS 10’s Default Keyboard
9. Use Third-Party Keyboards Everywhere
Apple does not allow the use of third-party keyboards in secure input fields such as passwords. This is why you will see Apple’s default keyboard pop up when you enter a password anywhere, even if you have other great keyboards like Gboard set as default. If you want to put comfort before safety, exKeybaord lets you use third party keyboards in password/password protected input fields.
exKeyboard is currently compatible with iOS 8 and 9 and unfortunately has not been updated for iOS 10.

Fix Control Center
13. Get Music Control on First Page of Control Center
Apple split the Control Center into two pages in iOS 10 and now you have to swipe to the second page to access the music controls. This scroll also sometimes conflicts with the brightness slider and gets annoying pretty soon. Horseshoe brings music control on the first pagethus combining both pages into one page.
