How To Fix Facebook Can’t Upload Photos On iOS 6

After updating to the latest software, some iPhone users are unable to upload photos to Facebook and encounter a lock screen saying “This app has no access to your photos and videos”.

Users who see this message in the Facebook app on iOS 6 will not be able to upload photos to Facebook from the Facebook app, but the new Facebook Integration continues to allow users to post photos from the Photos app.

This guide will show users how to fix Facebook can’t upload photos error so users can upload photos from Camera Rolls to Facebook.

Facebook won’t upload photos after iPhone update showing a lock icon on the screen.

The problem is that some users may mistakenly deny access to Camera Roll the first time Facebook asks. New iOS 6 privacy settings prevent apps from accessing Photos and contacts without explicit permission. If a user tells Facebook not to access their camera roll, they will see the Facebook photo upload lock screen shown above.

Users will see similar prompts when using apps that access location, photos, and contacts in iOS 6. This is part of Apple’s new plan to allow users to better control their information. If a photo app or social networking app asks for permission to access Photos on iPhone, most users will want to say yes.

If a game requests access to contacts or other information, the better answer might be No. Some apps may try to access contacts or location for purposes that most users may not like. When an app requests permission to access contacts, photos, or location, stop asking if it really needs access to that information.
