The Photos app has never looked so feature-rich before. The photo library deserves a lot of praise, whether it’s the notable privacy-centric feature that limits third-party access to images, or the Photos widget, which lets you take a look at highlights directly from the home screen. Another feature that caught my eye is the “Filter”. As the name suggests, it allows you to filter images from your photo library on iPhone and iPad running iOS 14 to ensure that your photo library only shows selected images or videos.

What makes filters so useful is their ability to let you control what kind of images appear in the library. Whether you want to show just a select few pictures or just want to make your photo library look perfectly organized with a certain series of shots, you need to make the most of Filters.

Using Filters in the Photo Library on iPhone or iPad
- Hungry Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap now. Library tab located in the lower left corner of the screen.
3. Next, tap on it. All photos option at the bottom of the screen.
4. Next, tap . three points (placed horizontally) in the upper right corner.
5. Next, select . filter in the drop-down menu.
6. Now you have multiple filters to choose from: Favorites, Edited, Photos, and Videos (“All Items” is selected by default). Note that you have the option to choose multiple filters. Therefore, choose the filters that suit your needs. After that, make sure to tap on it. Completed to approve.
That is all! Now only the selected photo type will appear in your photo library.
