How to download macOS High Sierra to macOS Sierra with Time Machine Backup?
You can switch from macOS High Sierra to macOS Sierra in several ways, but the best and easiest way is to use a Time Machine Backup made before upgrading. That’s why we recommend a fresh backup before upgrading. Before starting this process, we recommend making another backup on macOS High Sierra so you have a fresh copy in case something goes wrong.

Make sure your Mac is connected to power.
