Once this is done you will have to wait a bit for Time Machine Backup to be restored to your Mac and then you will be able to use macOS Sierra. Don’t force restart your Mac, even if you think it’s frozen. This may take a while and it may seem like it’s closing, but it should continue after short pauses. Make sure your Mac is connected to power.
