After Snapchat Stories, almost every social media platform brought Stories on their platforms in some way. From Instagram to WhatsApp and now Twitter, Stories are making their own way and becoming the more common way to consume content instantly on smartphones. However, if you’re put off by Fleets on Twitter (Twitter’s equivalent to Stories) and want to disable it right away, you’ve come to the right place. Here we show you how to disable Fleets on Twitter in a simple 3-point guide. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
Disable Fleets on Twitter
1. To disable fleets on Twitter, you must: Mute every Fleet on Twitter. When you mute all Squads, Twitter stops showing the Squadrons bar at the top. To do this, tap and hold a Fleet and select “Mute @TwitterHandle”. Next, select the “Mute Fleets” option.
2. When you mute all Divisions, the Divisions bar at the top it will simply disappear from Twitter. Note that unlike Instagram, Twitter doesn’t gray out Fleets from muted accounts, but instead removes them entirely from the homepage.
3. Reactivate fleets On Twitter, you need to visit the profile of the muted Twitter Handle. On the profile page, simply tap “Volume Up”. This much.
