How to Disable Facebook Messenger Day Feature on Android 1

How to Disable Facebook Messenger Day Feature on Android

There was a time when I saw Facebook as one of the most innovative companies in the world, not anymore. Since last year, Facebook has shamelessly stolen many of its rival Snapchat’s features. Probably the biggest feature that Facebook copied from SnapChat was the “Stories” feature, which it renamed and introduced as “My Day or Messenger Day”. Now, as a consumer, I don’t care about companies that take inspiration from their competitors to bring new features to their platforms. Because at the end of the day, we are the users who benefit from it. But I hate when companies force users to use these features. It’s sad that Facebook is doing the same with its Messenger Day feature.

So just look at the picture above, the Messenger app is bombarding us with stickers asking us to create our stories. I like the way Facebook has implemented the Stories feature on WhatsApp and Instagram. They are not on your face and you only need to use them if you want to. But in the Messenger app, Every time you send someone a picture, the app asks you to add it to your story.. This sounds like a shameless publicity stunt by Facebook. And look, I understand that some of you won’t mind that. However, if you are someone like me who finds this really annoying and will try every possible way to disable it. So without further ado, Here is how to disable Facebook Messenger Day feature on your Android Device:
