How to Customize Cart Preferences in macOS Catalina

One of the best things about Sidecar is its ability to let you use the Touch Bar on your iPad. Don’t have a MacBook with Touch Bar support? No problem. Even if your macOS device doesn’t have the Touch Bar, you’ll have the luxury of trying it out on your iPad screen. And this is typical Apple style.

What’s more, Sidebar also offers Apple Pencil integration so you can use the stylus as a mouse alternative to click and select items. But to get the most out of your pen, you need to enable its handy gesture from Sidecar preferences. Having said that, it’s time to move on to the guide!

1. click on apple menu in the upper right corner of the screen.

To hide the sidebar, Uncheck the box to the left of Show Sidebar. and use Drop down menu to make it appear on the right or left.

Show/Hide Touch Bar

Another notable feature about Sidecar is that it lets you use the Touch Bar on your iPad even if your Mac doesn’t have Touch Bar support. Since many macOS apps offer Touch Bar controls, you can speed up your work by using the handy controls.

Note: If you don’t see the Touch Bar on your iPad, make sure the app provides Touch Bar controls. Also, in System Preferences -> Mission Control, make sure the “Displays have separate Spaces” box is checked.

Again, you can use Sidebar preferences to turn the Touch Bar off and even change its location. to hide, uncheck the box. Click on it to change its location. Drop down menu and then select on Up down.

How to Enable/Disable Double Tap on Apple Pencil (2nd Gen)

A double-tap gesture is all you need to boost your productivity when using the second-generation Apple Pencil. For example, you can double-tap the bottom of the stylus to switch between the current tool and eraser, show the color palette, and more.
