Among the many new features in iOS 12, improvements to Animoji and new Memoji are probably low on the must-try list, but you might still want to check them out until the novelty wears off – at least you really like your heart.

How to Create Your Own Memoji
Creating a Memoji is actually a pretty simple (if long) process. Our Memoji is based on me, but the options remain more or less the same for girls and women. Here’s how to create Memojis in iOS 12:
- Open Messages and tap a conversation (or create a new conversation if you prefer). Here, Tap App Store icon next to the text field and Tap the Animoji icon (monkey face).
- Swipe left and you will see a plus icon with a label that says “.New NoteTap on ” to go to the Memoji creation screen.
- Here, choose your skin color this is the skin color closest to yours or the one you want. Use the slider to adjust the color to your liking. If you have freckles – or don’t – add them to your Memoji here too.
- Once done, Tap on ‘Hairstyle’. Here, choose your hair colorand choose your closest hairstyle or your dream hairstyle. you can even add emphasis To your Memoji’s hair if you want – in case your real hair is very straight.
- Next, tap on ‘head shape.’ Here, you can set ‘age’ in your facial features and shape of the chin.
- You can then tap on ‘eyes’ and choose the color of your eyesand their shapes are from the ridiculously long list of eye shapes.
- When that’s done, tap on ‘Muscles’ To choose the color and shape of your eyebrows.
- Next, tap on ‘Nose and Lips‘ to choose the size of your nose, the color and shape of your lips.
- When done, tap on ‘Ears’ to choose the size of your ears even add earrings If you want to show off your ear bling.
- Next, tap on ‘Beard‘ and choose the type of your sideburns, the color and style of your mustache and beard.
- Next, tap on ‘Glasses.’ Here you can choose the glasses you want. color of frames and lenses, and the style of glasses you wear. I’ll just leave it as I’m not wearing it.
- Finally, you also have the option to add it. ‘Hats’ to your Memoji. There are hats, hats, fedora, turbans and much more that you can choose with the color you want. Personally, I think I look cool in a top hatbut for the sake of righteousness I’ll let it go.
Now, just tap on ‘Done’ and you will find your Memoji right next to the Animojis.
