In my quest for full homescreen customization, I’ve taken almost every route. From creating custom app icons to creating awesome themes and eye-catching widgets, I’ve done everything to make my iOS 14 home screen stand out. Still, I felt like I was missing something very important that would allow me to better control the home screen. This is how the idea to create invisible iPhone home screen widgets came about.

So, Why Make Invisible iPhone Home Screen Widgets?
Transparent widgets can have a definite role if you want to let your wallpaper shine a little more freely or place app icons where you want them. They allow invisibly to showcase the design of the wallpaper. Transparent widgets help your app icons fit in specific spots by covering unwanted spots.
What Are the Requirements for Creating Transparent iPhone Home Screen Widgets?
In this guide, we will use a widget app to make invisible home screen widgets. Among a handful of apps, TWid and Yidget are my favorites as they work reliably and are free. You can choose any of these two widget apps to get started, as the process is pretty similar. I will use Yidget to make transparent widgets.
Make sure you have downloaded the widget app on your iPhone before proceeding with the steps.

6. Place the invisible widget where you want it. If you want to add more transparent widgets, Repeat steps from 3. Finally, be sure to tap on it. Completed in the upper right corner of the screen.
Use Transparent Widgets to Design Your iPhone Home Screen
Now that you know how to create invisible widgets, use them as you wish to design your device’s home screen. Place the transparent widgets where you want them to be blank and then position the app icons according to your theme’s design.
