A Few Tips for Email Signature
- Do not include your name and one or two contact details in your signature. That way, you’re not taking full advantage of the opportunity to connect and interact with the people you’re emailing.
- Don’t overdo it either. Hitting your signature full of links and information is just plain spam and self-promotion. It doesn’t make a good impression on the other side.
- Your email signature should be based on personal preference, your organization’s brand and culture, and even your industry.
- You can add information such as first and last name, membership information such as job title and department, call-to-action, photo and logo, and social profile icons.
