1. Press the button to open the “Run” dialog. Windows key + R simultaneous. Now type or copy + paste “msinfo32” (without the quotes) and press Enter.

2. In the System Information window “Motherboard Manufacturer” or “Skirting Manufacturer” option under System Summary. In most cases, it will show you the manufacturer of your PC motherboard. You will also find the model name under “.Skirting Product“.

Method 2: Using Command Prompt
Another easy way to see information about your computer’s motherboard is from Command Prompt. Here’s how to do it:
1. First, open the “Run” dialog as described above. Now type or copy + paste “cmd.exe” (without the quotes) and press Enter to open the Command Prompt window.
note: You can also open Command Prompt by searching for “cmd” (without the quotes) in the Windows search bar..
2. Now copy and paste the following snippet into the Command Prompt window and press Enter: wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer.
As you can see above, this command displays the manufacturer and model number of the motherboard in your Windows PC.
Method 3: Using Third-Party Apps
Numerous third-party applications offer you varying degrees of information about your system hardware. Some of the oldest and most reliable options are listed below:

- AIDA64 (download)

All of these tools are either free to use or shareware, the latter being open source. You can use any of them to check your motherboard brand and model. But for this article we will use CPU-Z. Method 4: Open Your Computer Case
One of the easiest ways to check which motherboard you have is to open the PC case. That’s easy when it comes to desktop computers that come almost entirely with thumbscrews these days. On laptops, however, you need a Philips head screwdriver to open the back cover and access the hardware components.
When you turn on the computer, find the manufacturer’s logo and printed model number on the motherboard. Even if you can’t find this on an OEM laptop, you should most likely find the four-digit chipset code that you can search the internet for to find out what motherboard you have.
For custom-built PCs, you can easily find all the information without breaking a sweat, but when it comes to OEM devices, this can be a bit more difficult.
