How to Change Galaxy S9 Navigation Bar (Buttons and Colors)
Here you will see a bunch of different options and customization controls. If you have applied a theme to your Galaxy S9 from Samsung’s theme store, you can apply that theme to your navigation bar buttons. Or choose from seven different colors for the navigation bar background color. I’m using stock Android theme so my buttons change and look like stock Android. You can even apply a theme that gives the Galaxy S9 stock Android 8.0 or Android 9.0 Oreo “Google Pixel” style buttons.
Then Samsung lets you change the pressure level of the virtual home button, unlock your phone with the home button, or change the button layout and order. Go ahead and choose any of them here and customize it as you see fit.
Other details
Overall, Samsung has made it extremely easy for owners to modify and customize their Galaxy S9. Once you change the navigation bar colors, background or button order, you are done.
However, there will be certain cases where the background color of the navigation bar is different from the one we just changed. Some apps make it transparent for a better viewing experience and even the home screen and background wallpaper can change this. Keep this in mind if you see it changing, as it will return when you tap the homepage or open a different app.
