How to Change Name and Picture in Google Meet on PC
As mentioned above, you need to change the name directly from the Google account settings. There are many ways to get to the Google account settings page from your laptop.
Method 1: From Google Meet
Open the Google Meet website in your browser. Sign in with your Google account. Click the profile picture icon in the upper right corner. Under Your account, select Manage your Google account.

Click Personal info from the left sidebar, then click Name under Your Profile. If you want to change the picture for Google Meet, click the icon next to Photo and add an image.

Enter your first and last name under the boxes and click Save. Open Google Meet and you will see the new name.

Method 2: From Google Chrome
If Google Chrome is your default browser and you’re signed in with the Google account you use for Meet, click the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of Chrome. Select settings.

Click Manage your Google account. Go to Personal info > Name (or photo) and change your name as shown above.

Method 3: From the link
You can also visit myaccount.google.com directly from any browser on your computer. Click Personal information after logging into your Google account. Click the name or photo and change it according to your need.
How to Change Name and Picture in Google Meet on Android, iPhone and iPad
Method 1: From Google Meet
Open the Google Meet app on your phone. Tap the three-bar icon at the top.

Your account will appear. Tap the small down arrow next to the email ID. Tap on Manage your Google account.


You will be taken to the Google account settings screen. Tap the Personal information tab. Tap on Name or Photo to change them.

Alternatively, open the browser on your phone and visit myaccount.google.com. Tap on Personal information. Tap to change the name or photo.
Method 2: From Settings (Android Only)

Troubleshooting: Name and Profile Picture Not Changing on Google Meet
If following the above methods does not change the name or photo in Google Meet, apply the following troubleshooting fixes:
Restart
If you are using a PC, close and reopen the Meet tab. You can even close the entire browser. If this does not fix the problem, restart your PC. Similarly, on a mobile phone or tablet, close the Google Meet app or restart your phone.
Clear Cache
Next, you should try clearing the cache of the Meet app or your browser.
To clear the cache in the browser, open the browser settings. Under Privacy, look for Clear browsing data. Click on it.
