Now you have successfully disabled the Samsung keyboard and are using something like Gboard or Swiftkey instead. Another way to do this, which may be easier for some, is to tap on Manage Keyboards and activate the keyboard you just downloaded.
Then go to a text message window or Google search anywhere that brings up the keyboard. Now, scroll down the notification bar to select the keyboard you want to use and tap where it says. Just like we did in our hands-on video above.
