For Change DNS servers for WiFi connections on your Android smartphonedo the following:
- Long press the WiFi icon by sliding down the notification bar. You access the WiFi Settings.
- Connect to an available network. Then long press on it.
- Tap on the pop-up menu that opens. Edit Network Where Change network settings.
- choose Show advanced settings.
- Change the IP Settings option from DHCP to Static. You need a static local IP address to change DNS servers.
- Enter an IP address or keep the one suggested by default.
- Enter the DNS you want in DNS 1 and DNS 2 fields and save the changes.
