How to Change Font on Galaxy S8
From here, you can select one of the five available system fonts and tap at the top of the screen. The options are Default, Gothic Bold, Choco cookie, Cool Jazz, Rosemary or . In the same display settings menu there is a slider for changing the font size. This is especially helpful if you download a very large font.
It is worth noting that Samsung has turned off the use of 3rd party fonts from unofficial sources, so your options will be somewhat limited compared to previous devices.
How to Download Fonts for Galaxy S8
Those who want to download other fonts for the Galaxy S8 can do so from the same settings menu as above. Here are the steps for adding more than five fonts out of the box.
Once you hit the download button, you will be redirected to the Galaxy App Store. Samsung offers a few more styles here for free, or you can choose from hundreds of styles ranging from $0.99 to $1.79.
Find a new font style you like and click the button. Your Galaxy S8 will download the new font and then press the button. The newly downloaded font will be listed along with the original quintet in the settings menu mentioned earlier. Additionally, there is an option to remove any downloaded font if you don’t like the style.
Feel free to download as many as you want by repeating the steps above and find something you like. If at any time you want to revert to the default font, simply follow the instructions above. Select “Default” from the font list and apply the original font.
