Apple announced the HomePod mini, its second smart speaker to date, during its hardware event in October. The device can be ordered now for $99. Apple has also opened orders for the iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max, and we’ve covered all the ordering opportunities for both phones in a separate article.
HomePod mini is a smaller version of the original HomePod. It has a single-speaker spherical design and holds a mesh fabric exterior and a small LED display on top of the device. You can also pair two HomePod minis for use in a stereo configuration.
We have a review of the HomePod mini if you’re curious about our thoughts on it, but if you’re interested in pre-ordering, we’ve compiled a list of retailers that currently have product listings for the HomePod mini.
You can buy the device directly from Apple’s website. If you want to buy from a retail store, right now, best buy, B&H Photoand Aim all have HomePod mini for purchase. Two color options are available at each retailer, space gray and white.
