How to Add Nintendo Account to Your Nintendo Switch
Armed with your Nintendo Account email address and password, press the button to unlock your Nintendo Switch console.
Press the A button.
Press the button three times.
Tap or click the bubble at the bottom of your screen. You can also use the joystick on the Joy-Cons to select. Press the A button after highlighting.
Scroll down in the menu on the left side of your screen until you reach the option.
Select or highlight with the A button and press A with your controller.
Tap or select your profile with the controller.
Scroll to the bottom of your profile.
You should find an entry labeled In our example, an account has already been added. Use this option and enter the Nintendo Account email address, username and password for the account you created on your computer.
Note that you can only have one Nintendo Switch linked to one Nintendo Account at a time. Also, be aware that removing a Nintendo Switch account from a user on Nintendo Switch may mean you lose access to your game saves. Nintendo Switch does not currently provide a way to transfer saved files.
