Add Hyperlink to Outlook Email
You can add a hyperlink to an Outlook email via a computer or mobile device. We’ll explain what to do in either case using the following steps:
Hyperlinking Outlook Emails on a Computer
Stage 1: Launch the Microsoft Outlook application on your computer.
Step 2: Select New Email from the Ribbon or select a mail from your Inbox and click Reply.
Stage 3: Compose an email.
Step 4: Select the text you need to add your hyperlink to by highlighting it.
Step 5: Right-click on the text you just selected, scroll through the menu options and select Link. Alternatively, you can move your cursor to the Ribbon and click Link.
Step 6: Click Add Link from the drop-down options.
Step 7: In the Add Hyperlink dialog box, enter the URL Address in the Address field.
Step 8: When you’re done, click OK or press Enter on your keyboard.

Hyperlinking Outlook Emails on Mobile Device
Here’s how to create hyperlinks using the Outlook mobile app:
Stage 1: Launch the Outlook mobile app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Tap the New Email icon or select a mail from your Inbox and click Reply.
Stage 3: Type your email as you normally would.
Step 4: Select the text you want to add the hyperlink to.
Step 5: Tap the highlighted text and you should see a list of options.
Step 6: Scroll through the options and tap on Add Link.
Step 7: Make the link by pasting or typing in the field labeled link.”
Step 8: Go to the top right corner of your screen and tap the checkmark.

Note: On Mac, hyperlinks can be added directly without having to select some text. Just click on the Message tab, provide the link and text and it will be attached to the email.
Edit Hyperlink in Outlook Email
If you notice an error after adding a link to a text in your Outlook Email, you can edit the hyperlink using the following steps:
Stage 1: Start the email and select the text with the hyperlink.
Step 2: Right-click on your selection to reveal the shortcut menu.
Stage 3: Scroll through the menu options and click Edit Hyperlink; this should launch the Insert Hyperlink dialog.
Step 4: In the Address field of the dialog box, edit the existing link or paste a new link in the box.
Step 5: Click OK to save the changes made to the hyperlink.
Delete Hyperlink in Outlook Email
Hyperlinks can also be deleted from a Microsoft Outlook email. Here’s how it works:
Stage 1: Start the email and select the text with the hyperlink.
Step 2: Right-click on your selection to reveal the shortcut menu.
Stage 3: Scroll through the menu options and click Remove Hyperlink; this should delete the link from the text.
Step 4: To delete attached text, highlight it and select Backspace or Delete on your keyboard.
You can repeat the process for any hyperlinks you need to delete.
