How to Access Nintendo eShop from Any Country

The new Nintendo Switch game console is a highly versatile and flexible device. With Joy-Cons attached to the console, you can play in portable mode or place the console on a table and play multiplayer games. Nintendo includes the Switch dock inside the box so you can start playing on your TV as well. However, if you live in a region other than the 4 regions where the Switch can be set, namely Japan, America, Europe, Australia/NZ, you will most likely not be able to access the Nintendo eShop. This renders the console useless, because unless you’re buying physical game cards, you’ll need the eShop to download games to your console. So, don’t worry if you live in a region other than the four supported regions because I will tell you about it in this post. How to access Nintendo eShop from any country:

Access Nintendo eShop from Any Country

It’s really cool that Nintendo doesn’t mind users creating multiple accounts in different countries to access eShops in other regions. This is useful because there are many games in the Japanese eShop that are not available in the eShop for the Americas. Also, only one demo game is available on the American eShop, while two more are available on the Japanese eShop.

The key is not exactly “region locked” meaning you can use it even if you create an account with “India” as your country of residence. However, if you choose a country that is not among the four selected, you will not be able to access the eShop, which greatly defeats its purpose. So you can use this method to access the Nintendo eShop for any country you want and get all the (really expensive) games you want. So, what do you think of the Nintendo Switch?
