Share Songs on Instagram
If you’re in a hurry, you’ll be glad to know that you can share songs using Instagram’s music feature without relying on third-party apps. But keep in mind that your song selection is limited by Instagram’s music library. To start, choose a background for your story and tap the sticker button At the top right of the story interface. Now select ‘Music’ from the options that appear.
In the search box, search for the song you want to share and select it when the results appear. You can keep a thumbnail preview of the track or choose to show the lyrics.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can mix and match both of these features. For example, you can take a screenshot of the player interface (a bit old fashioned, I know) and select the full song from Instagram’s library. The result looks something like what you see below. The reason I chose this method is because viewers can hear part of the song without turning on the stream service.
