Galaxy Note 8 launch event Livestream kicks off today, August 23. Millions of people around the world can see and see what’s next for Samsung. But thanks to countless leaks and rumors, we already know exactly what to expect. Here’s how and when to watch the Note 8 announcement.
The event will feature Samsung Unpacked and Galaxy Note 8 in the foreground. Of course, many can’t go to New York and see it live, so you should watch it in the Live streaming video below.

Users will be able to see the flagship phone and see it on stage for the first time. Not to mention hearing about its bigger screen, new features, water resistance, and possibly even a release date. Although so far we hear it could arrive around September 9-15.

We mentioned several ways to watch the event above, but this year Samsung actually has four ways for you to view the event. Including a 360-degree feed for the Gear VR. Again, this is August 23 at 8:00 am PT.

Countless leaks and rumors suggest that the release date is September 15. However, other leaks believe that closer to September 6-9, Samsung will release it to the public. Either way, pre-orders should begin within a week of announcement so you can reserve your own Galaxy Note 8.
So what are we waiting for? The Samsung Note 8 should have the larger 6.3 inch Quad-HD Infinity display with curved edges. The Galaxy S8 gives us a good idea of what’s in storage. It will be slightly larger, with dual cameras on the back and, of course, an S-Pen stylus. This will likely be Samsung’s fastest, bigger and most powerful flagship smartphone ever released.
As the design is relatively similar to the Galaxy S8, most of the changes will come from the improved camera, software and S-Pen. Leaks suggest a new vibration motor for an enhanced pen experience, in addition to the built-in “Find My S-Pen app”. This will likely be Samsung’s fastest, bigger and most powerful flagship smartphone ever released.
