Gmail: How to send a confidential email that expires and self-destructs?

This message will self-destruct on 10, 9, 8, 7… Gmail lets you play spies like in Mission Impossible, except for explosions. One of the new features of the mailbox allows you to send more secure, non-printable emails that self-destruct on a date you specify. These messages will only appear directly in Gmail. If the recipient is using a third-party mail client/service, they will get a link to open it. To compose such an email, you would also need to examine the web version of Gmail.
