The ROM offers the Touchwiz interface found on the Galaxy S7 Edge as well as allowing you to take advantage of the new features found in the latter such as TouchWiz themes, People Edge and many other features.
ROM Preview
Here is a small promotional video of the ROM. Its visual appearance is almost the same as on the Galaxy S7 Edge, with the Touchwiz interface, which Samsung has so highly valued. Theme store allows you to easily customize your Galaxy Note 4. Features are rich and varied, so we let you explore them for yourself.
Prerequisites
To be able to install the Custom Rom some prerequisites are required, so you need to:
- You have previously updated your Galaxy Note 4 to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or, if that fails, manually flashed the firmware.
- If you haven’t installed the latest firmware, you’ll need to flash via ODIN first. bootloader (box BL) and modem (CP box) Marshmallow.
- Installed TWRP custom recovery available here
- You downloaded the custom Rom file: N910_MM_DrKetan_ROM_M5_XDA.zip + fix for model SM-G910F
- Have a charged battery (at least 50%)
Installing the ROM
Copy/paste the ZIP files of the rom and the fix of the SM-G910F you downloaded to your phone’s internal memory without squeezing them.
Phone turned off, reboot in recovery mode by pressing the buttons at the same time volume up + home + power until the Samsung logo appears
Make a Nandroid Backup before proceeding!
From the menu that appears, select . “Support” then select the partitions you want to back up. Swipe your finger from left to right “Swipe to Backup” To start the backup process
Be patient as it may take some time depending on the number of apps and data on your smartphone.
After the backup is complete, go back and “wipe away” then swipe your finger from left to right “Swipe to factory reset”.
Please note that this action erases ALL content of your device (configured accounts and settings, photos, audio/video files, etc.).
Return to the main menu, this time “To organise”. There, all you have to do is select the rom file and flash it by dragging it from left to right. “Swipe to Confirm Flash”.
Once the ROM is done flash the fix the same way (but without Scrolling to factory reset it), then a “Delete cache” back then “reboot system now”.
