Facebook tracks your every move. Since the GDPR update, the largest social network on the planet has uploaded a new map titled. Location history and this is how Facebook has tracked your movements over the years through its Android and iOS app. Some will appreciate tracking their movements somewhere, but for others, it is fortunately possible to disable this tracking without deleting your Facebook account or app from your smartphone.
How to turn off location on Facebook?
To disable or re-enable location on Facebook:
- Open Facebook app
- go to symbol ≡ then in the bottom bar Settings and privacy
- enter inside Settings > Location
- Disable or enable Location history
- You can also revoke Facebook’s access to location data to ensure 100% that the app no longer collects geospatial data without your consent.

- Login to Facebook from your computer
- enter inside Settings > Location
- click See your location history
