Enable Server-Wide Two-Factor Authentication on Discord Server
Now that you have successfully turned on two-factor authentication in your Discord account, you will be able to enable server-wide two-factor authentication for your Discord server as well. So, to do this right away, simply follow these steps:
- After entering your Discord server, click on the server name and per “Server Settings”.
- Now, in “Check” section, scroll down to the very bottom and click “Enable 2FA Requirement”.
- To confirm, you will need to enter 6-digit Discord Auth code displayed in your Google Authenticator app. When you’re done, click “Enable server-wide 2FA requirement”.
You are ready and you are done. Now that you have this feature enabled, Discord will be able to prevent potentially dangerous administrative actions for users without two-factor authentication enabled. As of this writing, Discord only applies the feature to users with Admin privileges.
