And with a host of complications on offer, you can fine-tune your favorite Apple Watch face to your heart’s liking. - To start, Digital Crown To jump to the watch face. Later on, touch and hold screen.

Note:
- You should see the name of the section set at the top of the screen. It will also be illuminated in the main image, making it a little easier to understand what you are doing.
- The dots on the side let you know where you are in the list of options. It will show what the dot will do to the Apple Watch face when changing the color. Note that it will vary depending on the watch faces.
- If a particular watch face has a variety of colors, you will have the option to cycle through different color themes.
- Note that complications are not available for all styles.
- It’s worth mentioning that when customizing a watch face, you’ll find your specific complications in the Complications section (more on that later).

You can also customize watch faces using the Watch app on your iPhone. The process is just as easy.

- If you want to add more watch faces to your favorite list, tap . Face Gallery. Next, select a watch face and then Add Press the button to add it to your My Faces list.
2. You now have loads of tools to fine-tune your Apple Watch face. For example, you can choose the color you want, a nice-looking symbol, and also choose from the available complications. So, try various options to give your Apple Watch face a completely personalized look. Note that the customization options vary by watch face.
3. After customizing the watch face, scroll down and Set as Current Face Tracking option. Request! This newly created watch face will immediately appear on your Apple Watch as an existing watch face.
How to Set Photo as Apple Watch Face Using iPhone
I like to set a photo as an Apple Watch face for a more personalized experience. And I bet you will love every bit of this special watch face too.
- start Photos app On your iPhone and select the photo you want to set as the Apple Watch face. After that, tap on Share button in the lower left corner of the screen.
2. Now, Create Clock Face choice.
3. Next, select the watch face you want to make. You have two options to choose from: Photo Viewing Face and Kaleidoscope Watch Face (uses a built-in photo or a selected photo to create a color image in one of three different styles). I will choose Photo Watch Face.
4. Now use all available complications to customize your Photo Apple Watch Face. When you’re done, tap on Add. That’s it, your photo watch face will instantly appear on your Apple Watch.
Set Photo as Watch Face Using Apple Watch
It’s easy to set a photo as a watch face using the Apple Watch.
- Press digital crown Press and then firmly to access the watch face.
2. Now, swipe from right to left to access the option. add “+” a new face. Then tap on it.
3. Next, scroll down to find Photos Select and tap on . From now on, your Apple Watch will display a different image from its photo library every time you lift your wrist.

- Note that you may need to select a photo album from the Watch app on your iPhone. Simply open watch app on your iPhone -> Face Gallery -> Photos. Next, choose a beautiful album and then customize the watch face.
- Once you are satisfied with the customization, tap on it. Add to finish. Now, you should see this newly created watch face in your list.
How to Create Custom Apple Watch Complications
If you want to go even further in customizing watch faces, make custom Apple Watch complications to match your style. There are several third-party apps that let you create custom complications that you can set to change dynamically throughout the day. For example, it will show the weather in the morning and show your activity in the evening.
Among a few options I found Watchsmith (from the creators of the popular iOS 14 home screen widget Widgetsmith, free with in-app purchases), Watchmaker (Freeoffers in-app purchases) and Watch Complications Pro (Freeoffers in-app purchases) is extremely impressive.
Creating an Apple Watch complication is as simple as making a home screen widget. To give you a little glimpse of how it works, I’ll show you the process using this method: watchmaker. You just have to open the app and then select the complication you want for a particular watch face. As infographic circle it’s my favourite, i’ll take it.
Later, customize complexity and save using all available tools.
Now, when editing this particular watch face, you will have the option to add your custom complication.
