What if we keep getting spam in Apple Mail? Many of us block annoying emails to keep them from cluttering their inbox. But the big question is, does just blocking solve the problem completely? Number! Unfortunately, spam continues to flood the inbox even after adding them to the block list. And if you want to keep those emails out of sight, you have to take the extra step of deleting them. Apple Maill marks blocked emails so you can easily see them in the inbox and avoid opening them. The reason the Mail app doesn’t trash them directly is because it thinks you might want to check these emails before removing them from the inbox.

While this default behavior doesn’t seem out of context, I don’t think too many people prefer to check blocked emails before they go away. I guess the mail app wants to save itself from being damned for accidentally blocking a real email.

  1. To start, Settings app select it on your device and Mail.

2. Now, navigate to: indention section and select Blocked Sender Options.

3. Next, Move to Trash/Trash choice.

That is all! Going forward, all blocked emails will be automatically moved to Trash on your iPhone and iPad. Of course, if you want to change this behavior and leave it in the inbox, go back to the same setting and “Leave in Inbox” option at the end.

  1. start mail application on your Mac.

2. Now, click on Mail menu select it in the upper left corner of the screen and preferences.

3. Junk Mail tab and then make sure you have the key Enable blocked/spam filtering option opens.

4. Next, mark the circle on the left “Move to Trash.”

5. Now a popup will appear saying: “Move all messages marked as junk in the selected mailbox to the Junk mailbox. Depending on how you set your Mailbox Behaviors preferences in the Accounts pane of Mail Preferences, messages in the Junk mailbox may be automatically deleted.” Finally, click To move to approve.
