Here are our favorite Go to Work tips and tricks for getting to the next city, saving extra time, and going further. We will also share what you need to know about Do Not Commute cheats and hacks.
Learn the Best Routes
The fastest way to succeed in Do Not Commute is to drive smart and know the routes you need to take. You’ll learn these as you progress through each level, but you can shorten this by reviewing the route before tapping the screen to go. So plan where you want your car to go before you start driving.
This becomes more and more important as we add more cars to the mix. When you start driving and learning routes, be sure to keep the cars on one side of the road so you can use the other side of the road on later routes and not crash.
Understand Cars

Understand which cars are fast and which are slow.
You’ll eventually be able to mix the speed of the cars with the routes and the rest of the environment, so you’ll be able to take shortcuts between buildings while driving certain cars, and you’ll also know when you need them. sticking to the roads.
Cars are too fast or too difficult to drive between two buildings and also very difficult to maneuver around other obstacles. You’re better off sticking to the streets with these.
When you get into a truck or a large vehicle, they go slower, turn more easily, and you can get shortcuts and time bonus icons.
Use Turbo Wisely

You will want to use the turbo in wide open spaces.
When you use the Turbo special boost, you’ll go faster but have less traction, which means less control. Use this when you’re in a vehicle that you know will stay on the road, and when your route is usually one, you can stay on the road.
If you know you’re going to have to turn multiple times and you’ll have to avoid the other 10 vehicles you’ve put on the map, then using the turbo can actually be slower because you bump into something and you’re gone. Don’t drive too slow.
Personally, I like to drive the Turbo when I’m on flat roads and in the middle of a lot of routes that I have to take on my path even though I have a few cars to deal with.
Know When You Need Traction

Use Traction when the roads are crowded and you need better control.
Now the opposite of turbo boost is traction. When you choose to use traction, you have a lot more control over the vehicle and you can switch between buildings more easily from right to left to get a time bonus, but you’ll go slower.
The best time to use them is when you’ll need to take multiple turns, your route will either take you over bridges over buildings, through an area where you can maneuver correctly to get time bonuses, but not when you’re struggling. with time because you will go slower.
Sometimes this is very useful to use at the end of a level when you have 10 to 15 other cars on the map to deal with, already with more control you can quickly avoid an oncoming collision.
Rewind with Grace

Don’t rewind too often.
If you crash to ruin your route, you can rewind and start over. This is really useful if you hit the route really bad at the beginning of the route. But you don’t want to rewind multiple times for a line.
For example, if you crash towards the end of your route, it will take you less time to cross the finish line, rewind, lose a second, and then make the router all over again.
On the upside, there doesn’t seem to be a limit to the number of rewinds you can use, except for time on mat.
Test Your Turns
One of the hardest parts of Do Not Commute is when you come to your senses on the map and therefore left and right are reversed. Instead of waiting until the last second to figure out what the directions are, you can quickly go left or right after takeoff to get the right direction.
You have to choose which direction to turn after the extended play, but when starting out this is an easy way to make sure you always turn in the right direction.
Take Too Much Time Often

Go for the time bonus when someone is nearby.
It may be tempting to go to the finish line just outside the gate, but there are many advantages to going to the bonus time symbols on the map.
If you are located near one of these, a route that will take you off the road or to a different street will ensure that main roads are not as congested as before and simplify subsequent routes when time is tight.
Another bonus is, of course, that you can go further in the game. The best advice we can give you is to always go to nearby bonus time. Even if it takes an extra 5 seconds, you’ll be ahead by 5 seconds. Don’t forget to hit all the bonus times as well when you move on to the next level.
Become a Professional to Unlock CheckPoints

If you want to go to more cities, you should consider going professional so that you can use the checkpoints.
Although this game is free, there is a very good reason to pay $2 to unlock the pro version. The pro version of Do Not Commute includes checkpoints. You don’t have to start over in the first city every time you play with a checkpoint.
Even if this is good practice, it will quickly solve the hassle of losing 3 cities and then starting over at the beginning of the game and can help you gain more time in the next levels.
Doesn’t Make Cheats and Hacks Work
