In an interview, when asked if he would be willing to direct a film based on ‘Fortnite’, he responded positively:
“But of course! The game has an incredible universe and has proven to be a wonderful distraction for my free time”, responds the filmmaker excitedly.
He immersed himself in the game under his son’s influence and, even after his son lost interest, Snyder found himself increasingly immersed, thus exploring the game with the character Meeseeks from ‘Rick and Morty’.
