A big surprise shook social media and video game forums last Saturday (22), with the leak of images and videos of what was supposedly “Project Q”, the provisional name of the new portable PlayStation.
These records brought intriguing information, suggesting that the console could surprise fans by running even Xbox games, in addition to bringing the Android operating system as one of its features.
Revolutionary project
The “Project Q” was initially revealed in May this year during a “PlayStation Showcase”. The brand’s president, Jim Ryan, presented some specifications, informing that the device will feature an 8-inch HD display.
One of the promises is the possibility of doing streaming games from your PS5 with Remote Play or even via Wi-Fi.

One of the first accounts to leak information about the alleged laptop was Zuby Tech, a technology enthusiast on Twitter. If the images and videos are authentic, it is clear that the device resembles the DualSense, the PlayStation 5 controller, with a display in the center, which raises the suspicion that it is indeed the expected “Project Q”.
One of the most surprising revelations from the recordings released by Zuby Tech is the possible presence of the Android operating system on the Sony laptop. The videos show navigation through the menus and various folders of the Google software, which opens up a range of interesting possibilities.

While the device has been officially announced to stream PS5 games, the inclusion of Android as the operating system would allow other services such as Xbox Game Pass and GeForce Now, were also executed, in addition to the possibility of emulating other consoles.
Another feature that caught our attention is the likely presence of a touchscreen. This would allow the user to execute commands both via buttons and by touching the screen directly, providing an even more interactive gaming experience.
However, it is important to note that PlayStation has not yet officially commented on the leak, which makes the topic still a matter of rumor and speculation. The information released so far suggests that the successor to the PlayStation Vita could be released later this year, but details such as price and technical specifications have not yet been revealed.
While we await an official statement from Sonythe gaming community remains in suspense, eager to know more about what the new PlayStation portable can bring and if we will really have a revolutionary gaming experience with the possibility of running games from different consoles on a single device.
We’ll be closely monitoring news and updates about Project Q and its innovative features.
