Fortnite crates are handy little crates that spawn randomly in various locations on the map, and they’re not as safe as you might think. You don’t need expert hacking knowledge to unlock them, or even a mini-game to complete, because you just need to interact with them. Wait a few seconds and once you open the door, you’ll get a good stack of Bars to boost your overall bank balance.

These lockers will also be of interest to those following the Fortnite quests for Week 4, as one of them gives players the quest to open a Lock with a Key in Fortnite and a safe in the same match, for which you will need to know that both actions can be completed here. This may take some luck, as Crates spawn semi-randomly and Keys also drop randomly in Fortnite, but if you visit one of the areas we recommend, you should be successful. Fortnite Vault locations
We’ve marked all the Fortnite vault locations detected so far on the map above, but keep in mind that they’re not guaranteed to spawn there every match, so don’t be too surprised if you go. a space and you can’t find what you’re looking for – or if another player has already vacated it. There are possible spawn clusters in places like Rave Cave, Lustrous Lagoon, Cloudy Condos, and everyone’s favorite sweat spot Tilted Towers, so if you’re targeting Fortnite crates then these would be good places to target.
Unlike chests, Fortnite crates don’t make any sounds alerting you of their presence, so you’ll need to look for them when you arrive in their area. They are often found in stores, restaurants, offices or bedrooms, which can help narrow your search range. When you find one of the Fortnite crates, follow the Search interaction prompt and wait a few seconds, then a stack of bars will be added to your balance.
