The area around Reality Falls features Fortnite geysers, which intermittently eject water and steam to launch you into the air if you stand on them at the time. When the explosion sends you into the sky, you can redeploy your glider to get a better view of your surroundings, or glide into a new area of Fortnite while you’ve covered enough distance in the process. They may look pretty fierce, but they’re actually completely harmless, so give them a shot if you’re around.
These Fortnite geysers are also featured in many of the weekly assignments, the first of which is to launch three of them into the air using them. More recently, a quest that involves using the Fortnite Baller, Fortnite zipline, and geyser in a single match has been added, so if you’re already in the area to drive a blast, it makes sense to continue to Rave Cave later. to get other items as well. We’ve rounded up all the Fortnite geyser locations around Reality Falls for you here, so you can easily flag any missions that require them.
Fortnite geysers locations
For another challenge, gather weeds near Fortnite Reality Seeds.
Fortnite geysers are only found in the western part of the Fortnite map, which is filled with giant, glowing mushrooms. You can also find Reality Falls and Greasy Grove here. There are 12 geysers in this area, but you’ll find seven of them clustered together in Peril Pass, which is your best spot to complete this easy challenge, and the nearby Reality Tree has plenty of loot for you to grab later. Use the map above and the information below to help you get to any of the Fortnite geyser locations:
- Danger Gateway: You’ll find seven geysers very close together at this iconic site just west of Reality Falls.
- Reality Falls to the north: There is a geyser on a small rocky island in the lake area just north of the Reality Tree fed by several waterfalls.
- Reality Falls to the south: South of Reality Falls and across the road you will find a geyser towards the top of a cliff.
- Shelly Shoals: To the west-southwest of Greasy Grove is a geyser around a large cliff formation on the west coast next to a landmark called Shelly Shoals.
- Displaced Warehouse: You can find a geyser to the east-northeast of the Displaced Depot landmark building. On top of a rock formation that looks like a giant shark’s head.
- Workbook: Head southwest from the Scratch Pad icon to find a geyser on top of a tree-lined hill.
How to launch into the air using Geyser in Fortnite
Now that you’re heading towards a geyser, simply stand on it when the water starts to gush out so you’re fired upwards so you can redeploy your glider and observe or reposition the area from above. Do this three times in total – you can use the same geyser for all three if you want – to complete the challenge and claim the XP reward. It doesn’t even have to be done in the same match, but we think it’s best to land in the Danger Gate early in the match to complete the mission as quickly as possible.
From Reality Falls, you can head north to Rave Cave, where you can find the Fortnite wind tunnel at The Screwballer. To pass one of the Week 2 Fortnite missions, you’ll need to jump into a Baller vehicle and enter the tunnel. While you’re in the area, watch out for some Fortnite Runaway Boulders that can be dislodged using your Baller for another challenge.
