The Fortnite live event bar was recently set to an impressively high level with Collision in June 2022. This saw a massive machine warfare take place across the island, ultimately leading to the destruction of The Collider and his exile. Imaginary Order from The Seven’s battle royale. Before that, we had other live events like Operation Sky Fire and The End, each serving as a fitting conclusion for the outgoing season as we set up the Fortnite story for the next season.

Naturally, now that the current season is coming to an end and we’re getting ready to move on to Fortnite Season 4, speculation begins as to how that transition will be made. If you’re a seasoned player, you’ll know that each of these exchanges doesn’t have a Fortnite live event tied to it, so there’s no guarantee they’ll happen anytime soon. Also, while there is still time for Epic to patch something to the code, the leaked files have yet to be discovered, suggesting that a major event may be on the way. Nothing may be confirmed, but we can still speculate on what a potential upcoming Fortnite live event might look like.
What could be the next Fortnite live event?
A big focus for this season was the huge Reality Tree towering above the newly created Reality Falls POI. Not only is this the source of Fortnite Reality Seeds, their roots are slowly spreading across the island to transform any place they sprout. Butter Barn, Logjam Junction and Condo Canyon are among the affected areas, and Lazy Lagoon has recently emerged as a result of these roots to completely replace the existing The Daily Bugle POI. The glow around the Reality Tree seems to be increasing, so it may be possible for us to set up a Fortnite live event where the island is significantly altered by the effects of the tree.
It’s also possible that we’re preparing another musical feast for the next Fortnite live event, as we’ve recently reported that Lady Gaga may be coming to Fortnite. We’ve had a hugely successful Ariana Grande concert in-game before, and recently leaked files reveal assets for a stage, scaffolding, and speakers, along with the fairly obviously leaked Jug Band co-emote playing Gaga’s hit ‘Poker Face’. You can hear Lady Gaga on one of the in-game radio stations as part of the Rainbow Royale festival that’s happening right now, so it’s not too hard to give her a concert to wrap up the season.
No matter when the next one is, remember that these Fortnite live events are always hugely popular, so here are some tips not to miss when it’s time to start. First, check beforehand if the latest version of Fortnite has been downloaded and installed. Then, in case the servers start reaching capacity, it is recommended that you log in to the game at least an hour before the event start time and then watch out for the event playlist to go live approximately 30 minutes before the start time.
