The scariest time of the year, the Halloweenhas arrived in the game “Rocket League” and brings with it the long-awaited “Haunted Hallows” event.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, the annual Rocket League Halloween event hosted a series of themed content related to the character Jack Skellington.
Psyonix and PlayStation have released a preview trailer that highlights the chilling surprises that await players in this themed event.
Titled “Haunted Hallows Launch Trailer”, the video takes place in a festive and dark atmosphere, full of clear references to the iconic film “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.
Striking characters such as Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie and Sandy make special appearances, promising to provide fans with an additional experience of fun and nostalgia.

This year, the event will present challenges exclusive and a variety of Halloween Town themed items, consisting of a spine-chilling collection in the item shop, as well as two limited-time Halloween-themed game modes. The event will be open at “Rocket League” from October 18th to November 1st.
The contents of the Haunted Hallows event, which include news related to The Nightmare Before Christmas, are as follows: players will have the opportunity to complete Haunted Hallows challenges to unlock items themed, inspired by the residents of Halloween Town.
This will include items like Vampire Teddy’s antenna, Halloween Town mayor’s top, Giant Snake’s tires, and more.
Additionally, other challenge rewards will also follow the event theme, and Golden Pumpkins will unlock items from the Turbo, Elevation, and Zephyr series. In the item shop, you will find the new “The Nightmare Before Christmas” pack for Rocket League.
The pack includes the Jack Skellington sticker, Spiral Hill tires, the Jack Skellington goal explosion, the character’s player banner and, as a bonus, the Zero topper and the “This is Halloween” soundtrack (also available separately). All of this can be purchased for 1,500 credits.
Additionally, two other themed packs will be available. The “Oogie Boogie” pack will include the Oogie Boogie universal sticker, Oogie’s Winch tires and the Oogie’s Worms boost, all for 800 credits.
The “Sandy Claws” package will offer the topper of the character and Man-Eating Wreath tires for 500 credits. Additionally, a universal Sally sticker will be available for 300 credits.
For those who want the complete collection, all of the previously mentioned items will be included in the “Text Before Christmas” Bundle for 2000 credits.

The limited-time modes Spooky Cube and Haunted Heatseeker will return in special form. The Spooky Cube will be available from October 18th to 24th, during which time the cube-shaped ball from Super Cube mode will be replaced by an extremely fast cube-shaped pumpkin.
The Haunted Heatseeker will be back between the 24th of October and November 1st. To top off the super special Halloween event, the Farmstead Arena Variant (Spooky) will be back during Haunted Hallows.
