Take-Two Interactive Patent Announces GTA 6 Map Hints

GTA 6 is already a highly anticipated game after the huge success of its predecessor. The release date may be more than two years away, with many fans eagerly awaiting any news about GTA 6.

Unfortunately for these fans, a lot of information about the game came from rumors and hearsay. Fans, on the other hand, are making every speculation they can get their hands on, such as claiming that GTA 6 will see a teaser this year. Rockstar has yet to confirm whether each new rumor is real or fake.

GTA 6 Production announcement

The Grand Theft Auto 6 active production announcement, on the other hand, stated that the game is “very advanced” in its development cycle, giving fans hope that more information about the game will be out soon. To that end, a Reddit user named CoryLVV shared about a patent recently filed by Take-Two that appears to hint at the possibility of a massive map in Grand Theft Auto 6.

According to CoryLVV, the patent appears to be for an in-game system that would allow players to jump from one session to the next without having to go through one of Grand Theft Auto’s notoriously slow loading screens. Along with significantly reduced loading times, the patent also hints that players will have ample space to explore, as they will have to switch between regions.

This rumor suggests that GTA 6 will be another immigration floor with many big places corresponding to multiple states or perhaps countries for players to explore.

While the reveal of a large domain was welcomed, several Reddit users were concerned about the consequences of hundreds of players spreading across multiple interconnected domains.

While grieving is an issue in the game, the possibility of an open world much larger than that of Grand Theft Auto 5 is intriguing. With so many DLCs released over time, such as Grand Theft Auto 5’s Contract DLC, the game already has a lot of material.

If CoryLVV’s suspicions are correct and the patent Grand Theft Auto 6, the possibilities of content can be almost unlimited.
