Street Fighter 6: beta available, here’s how to play in preview

While NetherRealm has just made the existence of Mortal Kombat 1, the next installment of their famous bloody saga, another heavyweight Versus Fighting set to arrive on consoles and PC on June 6, 2023. We are talking about the long-awaited Street Fighter 6.

And what’s promised is, just days away from launch, Capcom has confirmed that a new beta phase has opened. This time, anyone can access this beta on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.

Capcom has launched a new open beta of Street Fighter 6

It has been available since Friday morning, 19 May 2023, and will be available until 9 a.m. (French time) on 22 May. Through this beta, Players will have access to the following content and game modes:

  • character creation
  • Ranked Matches
  • matches between friends
  • Battle Center Matches
  • Open tournaments
  • exercise mode
  • Product Store Center
  • Extreme Battles (Daily)
  • Game Center (daily)
  • Challenges (daily)
  • dj booth
  • photo location

Also, it will be possible Play as 8 characters of the 18 available in the latest version. That’s why you’ll be able to perfect your fighting techniques with Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li, Guile, Ryu, Ken, Kimberly and Juri. Also, players will be able to stick mandalas. 6 different terrains : Metro Downtown, Genbu Shrine, Byron Taylor Aircraft Carrier, Tian Hong Yuan, Macho Ring and Training Room. Let me also point out this beta is cross-platform. So PC, Xbox and PlayStation players will be able to play together.

How can you create your Capcom ID to access the beta version?

But be careful, to access the open beta create and save a Capcom ID before you associate it with your gaming platform. To do this you will need to go to the site auth.cid.capcom.com And Follow the registration form.

Once this is done, follow the procedure below:

  • Still sign in to the Capcom ID site and account page
  • Scroll down the page to find the part “Associating with external accounts”
  • click the button Colleague To link your PlayStation Network, Xbox or Steam account to your Capcom ID
  • you will need it later login with your credentials For Sony, Microsoft or Steam verify the relationship of the two accounts
