Everyone is watching the launch of yet another successful game from Microsoft. “Starfield” officially came out on September 6th and is catching the attention of the gaming public due to numerous factors.
However, as much as people enjoyed “Starfield”, playing games, in general, late can be a risk factor for your health.
But in the case of this user of Reddit, it appears that the game, rather than hindering her health, actually saved her. The report is completely surprising and raises a giant warning to be careful around our home.
Understand how the game saved the family
User u/tidyckilla shared a frightening image of a burning apartment in a post on Reddit.
Fortunately, the story had a somewhat happy ending, as some of the occupants managed to get out before anyone was seriously injured. The point is that they managed to quickly get people out of the place (the address of which was not disclosed) because someone was playing “Starfield” at the time of the incident.
The user says that, on the day the game launched in Early Access, he decided to play for as long as possible to enjoy the experience. At around 2:26 am, he heard a explosion in the apartment below yours.
Then, he paused the game, opened the door and saw flames rising up the building’s staircase towards his house.

Tidyckilla says that, after that, he just thought about taking his wife and cat and running away from the place. Both escaped with only minor burns to their bodies.
Furthermore, in the post, he also thanks the game because, if he had been sleeping, they might not have been able to wake up in time and could have died from smoke poisoning.
He also shared that, unfortunately, the neighbor in the apartment below did not survive the fire, which makes the story even more tragic. The possible explanation given is that the neighbor was smoking near oxygen tanks, causing the explosion.
Despite the destroyed house and extensive material damage, the player appeared to be well and in good spirits. In addition to the somewhat amusing tone of the original post, when asked if he was at least able to save the game, tidyckilla responded that the “Starfield” autosave is wonderful.
The story left everyone shocked and surprised. And as much as it hurts to stay up all night playing video games, as it affects your sleep and other body features, this time, playing with everything in “Starfield” did a great job and saved some lives. Have you thought?
