The legendary impatience of the players is known, but when it comes to Rockstar games, it is impossible not to be by their side. Indeed, if the studio had not confirmed this thing, no one would believe in the existence of GTA 6. Nearly 10 years after the last opus was released, fans are wondering if it could take this long for the company to develop the sequel.
Also, some time ago there were rumors that the remaster of Rockstar’s latest blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption 2, will soon be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X. We know very well that Red Dead Redemption and GTA are intrinsically linked.
Rockstar will concentrate their forces on GTA 6
In this case, it is better not to wait too long. In addition to the fact that Rockstar has never made the case official, it looks like a recent leak will definitively bury the project. Indeed, the leaked Tez2 shows that all Red Dead Redemption remasters for next-gen consoles have been canceled to date. The reason is simple: the studio would have preferred to focus solely on the development of GTA 6 until now.
On closer inspection, this news was unfortunately predictable. Rockstar already announced the color while supporting Red Dead Online a few days ago. Also, it looks like GTA 6’s development will stretch out to the point where some rumors indicate that the game might not come out before 2026. Better to look on the bright side: with a little luck, we won’t have to wait. long.
According to Tez2, it looks like Rockstar Games doesn’t want to release a new enhanced version. #RedDeadRedemption2 Coming soon for next-gen consoles.
