Sony announced a new version of its popular DualSense controller for PlayStation 5 at Gamescom last night. Gamescom host Geoff Keighley, dubbed the DualSense Edge, said: very efficient and highly customizable “.
The DualSense Edge marks the first time PlayStation has produced its own high-end controller. As the name suggests, the new DualSense Edge wireless controller for PlayStation 5″ designed to give you an in-game advantage ” thanks to Custom control mapping to suit your playstyle and needs.
There are currently many unknowns regarding the DualSense Edge controller. PlayStation has yet to reveal the launch date or price of the accessory. Given the price of Microsoft’s Xbox Elite controller, The DualSense Edge is likely to be marketed for around 150 Euros.
The DualSense Edge will support USB-C and come with a carrying case. The good news is that the case is designed to make it easy to charge via cable while the controller is inside. Unlike DualSense, we hope this new controller won’t face any slippage issues.
