This weekend, thousands of fighting game fans flocked to Las Vegas, NV for Evo 2023, the biggest fighting game event of the year. Second, it was an opportunity to highlight an important flaw in Sony consoles. As a matter of fact, the competitors in this year’s Evo Fighting Game Championship said that the USB ports of the PS5 consoles used in the tournament loosened from heavy use.
Worse still, some PS5s work with all games was melting the controller connectors from overheating. Since the PS5 only has one USB-A port on the front, many gamers plugged their fighting game controllers into one of the available ports on the back, but it was clear that they were suffering from the console’s heat.
